For our project we translated the ingredients and steps of how to make ice cream. Next week we will present to our Spanish class and see if they understand anything we say. We doubt it, so we will provide a list of the ingredients in English and Spanish, and a copy of the steps in Spanish before we do our presentation. At the end of the presentation, we will also hand out a copy of the English translation of the steps so that everyone will know for sure what we're talking about. We'll also have a copy of all of the ingredients on hand to hold up and demonstrate with as an example, except for maybe snow. If there's no more of it on the ground we're not going to be able to have it with us.
Rebecca will go through the ingredients, naming them in Spanish at the beginning while I hold them up for the class to see. Then, I will go through the steps in Spanish out loud while we do a demonstration using our ingredients. We will not actually make the ice cream during our presentation through, as that would take too long.

Steps to make ice cream:
1. Gather crusty snow. 2. Put the snow in the gallon bag until almost full. 3. Put one-fourth cup of rock salt and water in the gallon bag. 4. Put two tablespoons of sugar, one cup of milk, and one teaspoon of vanilla in the quart bag. Mix the ingredients. 5. Close the quart bag. Squeeze the air out of the bag. 6. Put the quart bag in the gallon bag. Squeeze the air out of the bag. 7. Throw the gallon bag with a partner until the milk is frozen. 8. Wash the top of the quart bag with water. 9. Get the ice cream out of the quart bag and into the cup with the spoon. 10. Eat and enjoy!
